The buttons are recorded or processed in the sense of the protection of personal data. Exact information about the function of the buttons is provided by Heise Verlag as the publisher of the IT trade magazine c't and as a developer of the buttons. Website visitors who want to share our site and/or mark it with a "like" will be directed to the sharing page of the respective social media platform when they click on the buttons. Only there/then will the scripts necessary for sharing/tagging the page content be loaded. Web analysis

Our website uses web analytics service "Google Analytics", which is provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The service (Google Analytics) uses "cookies" - text files that are stored on your terminal device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored. We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for order data processing.

Your IP address is recorded, but pseudonymised immediately (e.g. by deleting the last 8 BIT). This means that only a rough localisation is possible.

Our concern in terms of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our web presence. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymised. The user data is stored for a period of 26 months.
